Ingredients of #monsoon Fritters from leftover rice and pulse
- It’s 1 of bowl leftover Daal(Pulse).
- Prepare 1 of bowl leftover Rice.
- Prepare of Breadcrumbs-4 slices of bread for pakode.
- You need of Breadcrumbs-2 slices for coating.
- Take 1 of green chilli(chopped).
- Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger.
- It’s 1 of bowl coriander.
- Take 5 tsp of cornflour.
- Take of Water.
- You need of Salt and red chilli(optional).

- Put Pulse,rice,geen chilli,ginger and coriander in a bowl..
- Mix well.Mash it for 1 minute..
- Add breadcrumbs.Mix well(it should have consistency like mashed potatoes).
- Dissolve corn flour in water.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions.Roll into a ball..
- Dip a ball in a cornflour-water mixture and roll them in the breadcrumbs till they are evenly coated from all the sides(do for all balls).
- Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry the balls on a medium flame till they are light golden brown from all the sides..
- Drain on absorbent paper.Serve hot with chutney/ketchup..
- Notes -Add more breadcrumbs/Rice if your pulse is thin. -You can add red chilli if you want pakode to be more spicy. -If your pulse already has ginger then don't add ginger again. -I have used arhar Pulse here.You can use any Pulse.
