Ingredients of Fish Tikka Masala
- Make ready 500 gm of Fish Fillet cut into cubes.
- Make ready of For Marination.
- You need 4 tbsp of Yoghurt.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- Make ready 1 teaspoon of Lemon juice.
- You need 1 teaspoon of Ginger garlic paste.
- It’s 1 teaspoon of Red Chilli powder.
- Take 1 teaspoon of fish Masala/garam Masala.
- You need 1/4 tsp of crushed kasuri Methi.
- It’s of For Gravy.
- You need 2 of Tomatoes roughly chopped.
- You need 4 tbsp of Cashews.
- It’s 3-4 tbsp of Oil.
- Prepare 2 of Onions finely chopped.
- It’s 2 of Green Chilies slit.
- You need 1 teaspoon of Ginger garlic paste.
- It’s 1-2 tbsp of Cream.
- You need 1/4 teaspoon of crushed kasuri Methi.
- Make ready 1 teaspoon of Red Chilli powder.
- Take 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala.
- Prepare half of teaspoon Fennel powder.
- It’s 1 tbsp of Coriander powder.
- Make ready to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1 cup of Water.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Jeera.
- Make ready 3 tbsp of chopped Coriander leaves.
Fish Tikka Masala instructions
- In a bowl, mix all marinating ingredients well.
- Add fish fillet, marinate and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Place fish fillet on greased grill pan, grill from all sides.
- Keep grilled fish aside.
- Grind tomatoes and cashews to form a puree.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds.
- Add onions and saute until browned.
- Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies, saute until raw aroma goes away.
- Add spice powders and salt. mix well.
- Add ground puree, saute until oil starts leaving sides.
- Add water and bring to boil.
- Add fish tikka, gently mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add kasuri methi, cream and gently mix. garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
