- You need 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of coriander powder.
- You need 1 tsp of Jeera(cumin) powder.
- Take 2 tbsp of oil.
- Take 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
- It’s 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of coriander leaves.
- It’s 3 cups of water.
- Prepare to tsp of Salt.
- Make ready 1 pinch of hing/asafoetida.
Jhatpat Tuvar dal instructions
- Soak the dal.
- In the Cooker add oil when hot add mustard and jeera seeds,hing when it splutter add ginger garlic paste..
- Add onion cook for 1 min and add tomato.
- Add all dry masala cook till it is mushy add Tuvar dal and water.
- Put the lid cook for 3 whistles.Now it's ready and garnish with coriander leaves.
