  10. Make ready 1 1/2-2 tsp of Biryani Masala Powder.
  11. Prepare 2 1/2 cups of water.
  12. Take 2-3 tbsp of Oil.
  13. You need 1 of bay leaf.
  14. Take 4 of green cardamoms.
  15. Make ready 2 inch of cinnamon.
  16. You need 6 of cloves.
  17. It’s 1/2 tsp of jeera.

Veg Biryani step by step

  1. Soak rice for at least 10 minutes. Drain the water and set aside.Add oil to a pressure cooker and heat it.Next add spices and fry till you get a nice aroma for one to 2 minutes..
  2. Fry onions and green chilies until golden.Add ginger garlic paste and saute.Next put in all chopped vegetables and fry for about 2 minutes.Add mint leaves, biryani masala and saute again for 2 more minutes..
  3. Measure and pour water. Add salt and lemon juice.Stir well and taste the water. If needed add more salt..
  4. When the water begins to boil, add drained rice and mix.Close the lid and let the cooker whistle once on a low flame..
  5. When the pressure goes down, open the lid and fluff up with a fork.Serve veg biryani with raita..
