Ingredients of Zesty Fish Curry
- You need 2 of cod fillets cut into decent size chunks.
- Prepare 1 of onion medium sized thinly sliced.

Zesty Fish Curry step by step
- First bring the water and the dried chillies to a boil. Remove it from the heat.
- While the chillies was boiling away, I dry roasted the coriander and cumin seeds and ground it a fine powder.
- Back to the dried chillies, transfer it to a food processor and add the garlic cloves and grind it to a fine paste. To this add the ground powder, and the lemon juice. Once well mixed, set it aside.
- Take a large deep pot and add some oil. Once the oil heats up, add the thinely sliced onions and saute until its translucent.
- Next add the spice paste and cook for 10minutes. Then add in the coconut milk and the 1/2 cup of water, the chile powder and give it a quick stir.
- As it starts to boil, add the cut pieces of cod fillet, season with salt, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a lid and let it cook.
- Remove from the heat and slowly transfer the fish curry to a serving dish, make sure the fillets don't fall apart! Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with some freshly steamed white rice.
