  1. You need 400 grams of roughly chopped white mushrooms.
  2. You need 2 of medium size finely chopped onions.
  3. It’s 1 cup of crushed tomatoes.
  4. You need 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  5. Prepare 2 of green chillies chopped.
  6. It’s 1 tbsp of kasuri methi.
  7. Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  8. Make ready 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  9. You need 1 tsp of garam masala.
  10. Make ready 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp of salt.
  12. Take 1 of bay leaf.
  13. It’s 1 of cinnamon stick.
  14. You need 2 tbsp of canola oil/cooking oil.
  15. It’s 1.5 cups of water.
  16. It’s 4-5 tbsp of table cream.

Mushroom Masala step by step

  1. In a wok take oil. After oil is hot add cumin till it crackles. Add bay leaf and cinnamon stick..
  2. Add onions and saute till translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute..
  3. Now add crushed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates..
  4. Add in all the spices and cook for a minute. Furthermore add mushrooms and mix well..
  5. Add water, cover and cook until mushrooms are done..
  6. Add cream and mix well. Turn off the stove..
  7. Garnish with kasuri methi and serve hot with rotis..
