Ingredients of Chicken Afgani Masala
- You need 12-15 of chicken pieces of choice.
- Take 300 grams of curds.
- Take 4-5 of onions.
- You need 100 grams of cashews.
- You need 10-12 of Almonds.
- Prepare of Make a wet paste of cashews almonds and poppyseeds.
- It’s 2-3 of green chillìes.
- Take 1 bunch of coriander leaves.
- Make ready 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It’s 2-4 clove of peppercorns.
- Prepare 1-2 of cinnamon sticks.
- Take 1-2 of star anise.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- Take 1 tsp of poppy seeds (khaskhas).
- Prepare 1 tsp of garam masala.
- You need 1 tsp of white pepper.
- It’s 2 tbsp of oil.
- It’s 1 tsp of ghee.
Chicken Afgani Masala instructions
- Marinade washed chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste,curds salt and other spices for half hour.
- Heat ghee oil mix,splutter cloves cinnamon star anise.
- Add the onions ground and the cashews poppyseeds paste to stir fry in the ghee oil.
- Cook five minutes stirring well.
- As it starts going light brown add the marinade chicken now stir well.Add 2 glasses water.
- Stir well cook in pressure 15 minutes or open pot 20 minutes on slowflame covered.
- Serve Hot garnished.
